Categorization module provides functionality to create hierarchical content categories used for tagging articles. When applied to content, categories create a taxonomy, a set of metadata that describes and classifies the content. These components display categories and the content they are tagged with.


Category Cloud

  • Weighted list of categories. The more prominent the category, the more weight (importance) it has.
  • Displays the cloud in the main area.
  • Component definition: catCloud

Category Cloud in Extras Area

  • Category cloud to display in the extras area.
  • Component definition: catCloudExtras

Category Cloud Wide

  • Category cloud to display in the base area.
  • Component definition: catCloudWide

Category-based RSS Feed

  • Generates RSS feed based on content categories.
  • Select one or more categories to add content to the feed.
  • Component definition: categoryRSSFeed

  • The Content Root field allows you to select the parent page of the subpages to be included in the feed. Only subpages that have been tagged with the categories in included in the Categorization field (below) will be included.
  • The Categorization field allows you to select categories in the Data module. You can add as many categories as you like. Related categories are not included in the feed by default and should be selected as additional categories if relevant. Category relations are set in the Data module.
  • Displays a link list of related categories.
  • Component is autogenerated in the extras area of the stkCategoryOverview template.
  • Component definition: stkRelatedCategoriesLinkList.
