Magnolia CMS 5.7.24 is the fifth Extended end-of-life (EEoL) maintenance release, which brings security and library updates.

We keep the details of security fixes private in line with our security policyContact our Support team if you need more information.

Should you require access to the updates of 5.7 under the EEoL conditions, please contact your sales representative.

Security improvements and library updates

  • Update to Tomcat 9.0.67 (MGNLTOMCAT-26).
  • SnakeYAML updated to 1.32 ( BUILD-901 ).

SnakeYAML 1.32 restricts the size of YAML files to a maximum of approximately 3 MB to prevent potential issues with untrusted sources. Be aware that this might break existing setups if they use YAML files larger than this newly introduced accepted limit.
We recommend splitting large bootstrap files or using XML bootstrap files as a workaround.
